Established in 1962 as the School of Correspondence
Courses and Continuing Education,the School of Open Learning is
one of the pioneering institutions in India offering higher
education through the open and distance learning system.
Beginning with around 900 students, the institution
has grown significantly over the years and today
supports a large community of learners enrolled in undergraduate
and postgraduate programmes under the academic framework of the
University of Delhi.
Our Story
Established in 1962 as the School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education under the University of Delhi, the School of Open Learning is one of the pioneering institutions in India offering education through the open and distance learning system.
